Manage and delete your data

ApexTrack respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to delete your entire account, or remove specific data without closing your account.
Delete your entire account
You have two ways to delete your ApexTrack account. Both result in permanent deletion of your personal data within 24 hours.
Option 1 — In-app deletion (fastest, recommended)
- Open the ApexTrack app on your iOS or Android device.
- Sign in if you aren't already.
- Tap Settings (gear icon, bottom-right tab).
- Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog.
Your account is deleted immediately. No further action required.
Option 2 — Email request (if you can't access the app)
Email support@apextrack.app from the email address registered to your account, with the subject line "Delete my account."
We will verify your identity and delete the account within 7 business days, sending you a confirmation when complete.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your profile — name, email, date of birth, height, sport preferences
- All training session data — rep history, jump analyses, personal bests
- All videos you uploaded to ApexTrack Storage (pinned clips)
- Your wallet balance and referral history
- Family Plan membership — primary members trigger removal of the plan; co-members are migrated to a free plan
- Push notification tokens
- All other personal data associated with your account
What is kept
The following data is retained for legal and operational reasons:
- Billing records — Stripe, Apple, or Google transaction history, retained for 7 years as required by tax and accounting regulations. These records do not contain personal information beyond the original transaction amount and date.
- Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics — non-identifiable counts (e.g., total jumps analyzed in a given month) used for service improvement. Cannot be linked back to you.
- Email log — a record that a deletion request was made and fulfilled, retained for 1 year for compliance audit purposes.
Delete specific data (without deleting your account)
If you want to keep your ApexTrack account but remove specific data, you can do so directly within the app:
- Delete a training session — Open the History tab, tap a session, tap the trash icon, confirm.
- Delete a pinned video — Open the Family / Videos tab, tap a video, tap "Remove," confirm.
For deletion of any other data category, email support@apextrack.app with the subject line "Partial data deletion request" and specify what you want removed. We will process within 7 business days.
Data deleted this way is permanently removed within 24 hours and cannot be recovered.
